Hey, y'all!
As we step into February, I'm thrilled to kick off the second edition of BOWB's Black History Month series: "We're Making History"
Throughout this month-long journey, we'll be shining a spotlight on remarkable people who are actively making history and breaking barriers. From trailblazing entrepreneurs to visionary artists, each post will capture the essence of their impact and accomplishments. Why? Because Black History Month is not just about reflecting on the past; it's about acknowledging the incredible individuals shaping our world today.
Last year, the response to our series was nothing short of phenomenal. We had the privilege of featuring exceptional individuals like, Mariya Russell, Kyra Harris Bolden and Aisha Bowe, whose stories resonated deeply with our audience. Their journeys were inspirational, and their contributions to the world of culinary arts, politics and S.T.E.M. left an indelible mark on the landscape of history. Check out the video of Mariya here:
As we embark on a new chapter this year, "We're Making History" continues its mission to spotlight the brilliance and resilience of black individuals who are currently shaping the narrative and breaking barriers in today's world. This year's lineup promises to be just as extraordinary, if not more so, as we bring you stories that will undoubtedly captivate and inspire.
The best part: the story is still unfolding, and you're invited to be a part of it. Join me in celebrating these changemakers, and let's collectively marvel at the greatness they're bringing into the world. Stay tuned, stay inspired, and keep an eye on the incredible individuals who are, indeed, making history right now.
